always left
recyclers in
control of their
own data. Car-Part
doesn't share your
data or send your
data to a third
party without your
permission. When
you subscribe to
Car-Part basic web
services, there is
a set of services
that require your
inventory data
(such as online
part listings).
Any time you have
subscribed to an
additional
service, you have
also given
permission for
that service to
access your data.
We understand your
concerns regarding
the security of
your inventory
data, so this
report serves as a
reference for you
to see which
services you have
given permission
for your data to
be used in. If you
wish to revoke
permission for any
of these services,
you can do that by
unsubscribing from
those services.
No matter where you have
authorized your
data to be used,
Car-Part does not
allow any third
party bulk access
to your data
without your
knowledge and
permission.
Car-Part does not
give or sell any
of your
individually
identifiable data
(i.e., data that
can be identified
as your data) to
any third party
without your
permission. If you
have elected to
allow Car-Part to
provide your
individually
identifiable data
to a third party,
those third
parties are
contractually
obligated to
recognize that
your data cannot
be passed on or
sold to any
additional third
party. We do not
send bulk data to
any third party
without your
knowledge and
written
permission.
Car-Part does reserve
the right to make
available
aggregate data
(i.e., data that
comes from many
sources and is
combined for
statistical or
other purposes and
does not reveal
the identity of
the persons that
provided the
specific data) to
third parties.
These statistics
are often used in
marketing
materials, such as
advertisements
that state how
many parts are
listed on
Car-Part.com.
Additionally, Car-Part
does not collect
(or provide to
anyone) your
business
information that
is not directly
related to current
inventory
information. This
means that we do
not collect
information like
account receivable
or sales history.
The Data
Collection and
Service
Authorizations
report that is
available to you
details which
fields in your
inventory
management system
are included in
your inventory
upload to
Car-Part.com.
