New Features in Photomate 3.2
Take Care of Resolution Parts
Right on Your Phone!

When you have parts in resolution (parts that need interchange numbers assigned), you can review these parts and assign interchange in Checkmate. But sometimes you have to see the part to determine the correct interchange.
Introducing Photomate 3.2, which lets you review and resolve Resolution Parts, right from your mobile device!

This update is available in the app store today! If you haven't already, update your Photomate app to version 3.2 to unlock these new features. Keep reading to see how it works!
|
Step 1: Look Up Resolution Parts
First, use the Resolution Parts Selection screen to search for parts you want to resolve. Use just one search field, or a combination (Location, Stock #, Part Type, and/or Model).
Then, just hit the green RETRIEVE button.

Step 2: Select a Part to Resolve
Photomate retrieves a list of parts that are in Resolution and that fit your search criteria. You can change the Sort order, or use the search bar to filter to something specific.
When you find a part you want to work on, just tap to select it.

|
Step 3: Assign Interchange
On the Resolution Part IC Selection screen, review the part info and then select the interchange. (Tap the white notepad to see Interchange Notes.)
You can also review current sales, request, and inventory data for that interchange number.

If you need to, you can also:
- edit the part Desc
- review/edit Price (and see Price Book info)
- add the part to the Checkmate Tag queue
- mark the part as a Core or Private
- Add Images
When you're done, tap UPLOAD (or, you can DELETE the part from your inventory entirely). Photomate sends the changes to Checkmate so your inventory is updated right away. Then you'll be taken back to your list of Resolution Parts so you can work on another part.

New Photomate Settings
After getting feedback from Photomate users, we've added a bunch of new settings that make Photomate more customizable than ever!
|

The User Settings are now on 3 tabs, so we could make room for these new settings:
- Auto-generate a Private Part Note from a Job Comment (if you don't want this to happen, be sure to un-check this setting.)
- Mark missing parts as Private so that you can suppress missing parts from your searches until they are found.
- Always generate a tag when:
- moving a part
- adding a part
- resolving a part
- Always set Core parts to Private
Check out the new settings and make sure they're set how you prefer!

In order for these new features to work, both your Photomate app and your Checkmate Rest Server (CMRS) must be updated. (On your Checkmate server, open Checkmate Workstation to see the prompt to update CMRS to version 2.0.0.74.)

Bidmate and Partmate users will soon start seeing the following message (or something similar) when a major software update is available (like interchange). When you see this, click the button that says Visit the Bidmate/Partmate Release Site to complete your update.
